Arenal d'en Castell
Arenal d'en Castell on the north-facing rugged coastline of Menorca is a purpose-built resort for holidaymakers. The town is centred on a golden Horseshoe bay that lies below the cliffs making it popular for young families, and couples who can partake in the Blue Flag awarded beach and sea.
In the holiday season, the added reassurance of lifeguards that are dotted along the shoreline keeps it safe for young and old alike.
Supermarkets in the resort
There are a handful of supermarkets offering food, clothing, souvenirs and beachwear/inflatables.
On the way into Arenal den Castell you will find a Pons perfume and clothing store.

Attractions near Arenal d'en Castell
Golf Son Parc
A favourite attraction is the 18-hole Golf Course, Golf Son Parc Menorca which you will find in the Urbanisation of Son Parc.
This club is of Championship quality famously holding the Mens Menorca Open Championship with lots of international players drawn to the competition.
It is easy to get to the resort and just a few kilometres away from the resort.
Take the Arenal d'en Castell Road Train
As with some other popular Menorca resorts. Arenal d'en Castell has its own mini train to get around with the kids. It travels from the Aquamarima, past the Marina Parc and Castell Playa hotels, and then travels along to the Na Macaret fishing village.
You can buy a single ticket for 6 euro's or buy a return for 8 euro. It is well worth the investment.

The road train runs on the hour from 10:25 to 13:25 in the morning, and between 16:25 to 21:25 in peak
The resort so popular with young families
It is popular because this low-key resort is centred around families and everything they need to keep everyone entertained on their holiday. There is a lovely boardwalk for an evenings stroll that is buggy friendly. The well-equipped beach has a good selection of Parasols and Sunbeds along with Pedaloes and Kayaks, plus some lovely beach bars and cafes.

All in all, Arenal Den Castell is a wonderful safe resort that is safe for youngsters to play on the beach and go for a paddle with the parents. There is an assortment of hotels and a good mix of apartments and villas.
